Our Story

This is MyCoachCal.

We believe athletes get better through training — real reps, small groups, focused work built around getting better.

As a lacrosse coach running my own training business, I couldn't find a tool built for the way coaches actually work. I was using spreadsheets for bookings, Venmo for payments, and hoping an Instagram post or email reached the right parents. When I did try a booking link, it didn't do what I needed it to.

That's why we built MyCoachCal — not for clubs, for training. Built to help coaches earn more, impact more athletes, and take away the busywork that usually comes with that growth.

This is us: a coach who lived the problem, and a co-founder who built the fix.

Is the Stripe fee separate?

Yes. Stripe's rate (2.9% + 30¢) goes to Stripe. MyCoachCal's fee — 3% or $10, whichever is less — is separate and capped at $10.

When do I get paid?

Stripe's standard schedule — usually within a couple business days.

What if a parent needs a refund?

You set the policy. Issue refunds or credits anytime from your dashboard.

Do I need my own waiver?

Yes. Add it once — it's signed automatically at registration.

Are reminders automatic?

Yes — email and SMS, sent automatically.

How do I make sure I net what I want?

Parents pay exactly the price you list, and fees come out of that. Price a bit higher than your target — list at ~$160 to keep $150.
